Optimize Archive Links in Blogspot

As we all are talking about SEO in Blogger, WordPress etc., frequently. I previously published one article on "Special Meta Tags for SEO 2016". And now we have came with another amazing similar post for bloggers and this post is all about archive links in Blogger. These archive links hold our blogger day and night history and links inside these archives are linking to the old posts existing in our blog which were published in the past. And thus, these links creates troubles for the Search Engines Robots as Crawling duplicate content.

Steps to avoid Search Engine from Crawling Archives

No need to get tense, it is only the HTML extra attribute which you want to replace and this solves the issue. Follow the given steps

1. Go to Blogger
2. Template >> HTML >> Proceed >> Tick (Expand Widget Template)
3. Press "ctrl+F" and find the Below Line of Code

<a class='post-count-link' expr:href='data:i.url'>

4. Just replace the above code with the code given below. Save the template and you are done.

Additional Tip

1. Go to Blogger
2. Setting >> Search Preferences >> Custom Robots Header Tags
3. See the below Picture and Make the changes
